Hi! everyone, I'm new, and I hope this is the right place to post.
After lots of online research, the only thing for me to do is gather your anecdotes or your experiences from you guys about if any of these three side effects happened to you guys/other people or not.
I plan to take any of these for two months and then cycle them off.
That way, I can gauge the safety before I order any of these supplements. Thanks!
Have any of you guys got liver damage, pancreatic damage, or kidney damage from taking any of these supplements or have you heard of anybody who did?:
Anecdotally, I know someone who regularly takes black seed oil, has done so for at least 5 years, and has not experienced negative results or side effects.
I've used Rhodiola Rosea before. It's great if I need to be awake and clear minded the next 72 hours. No jitters, no fatigue, no sleep. It's a lot like a better version of insomnia where I don't slowly lose the ability to do math or have trouble focusing or get short tempered. I have NOT tried using it for weeks or months at a time.
One of my friends says she gets about four hours out of the same dose.
I have more or less the same experience as Anne Miller with lemon balm. It does make a very nice summer tea.

I love this, and while I don't take it daily, my daughter did, for a couple years, with no negative effects.

2. Rhodiola Rosea (Rosenroot. Compounds Salidroside & Rosavins)
I've taken this for a couple months at a time, with no ill effects, whatsoever, and as soon as I can get it to grow here, I'll be taking adding it to my daily tincture blends.

3. Schisandra Chinensis (Compound Schisandrin B)
I can't speak to this one, but have never heard of anyone having problems with it.
These all play strong, important roles in the double strength tincture I make (folk method) and take, daily. I have taken them this way or as a tea, since... early 2010, with no ill effects, whatsoever. Sometimes, depending on what's going on, I might even double my doses.
I have no experience with these, though the black seed oil & magnolia bark are on my list to get my hot little hands on.

These are also in my daily blend, that I've been taking for so long - no ill effects.

I have never even heard of this one, lol.
Of those I've had for so many years, blue vervain and lavender are the ones I'm most likely to prefer as a capsule, if I can get it, because of their tendency toward extreme bitterness, especially in therapeutic doses, particularly the blue vervain. I hope this helps. But, keep in mind, please, I take what I take for my own health reasons, and I don't take any medications, so there are no contraindications to complicate matters - I have no idea whether your experience will be the same as mine, because my physiology and yours are probably worlds apart. Also, I'm a home/family herbalist, not a clinical one. My herbal education has been in depth, but informal, and while I'll often recommend something, I don't sell or 'prescribe' anything. Never have, never will.

The first question about any herbs you take for their supplements should be:
What's wrong with my body that I think I DO need it?
Many people read somewhere: it is beneficial.... it is good for.... it has properties that could avoid....
If you eat a balanced diet with lots of veggies and plant matter, you should be covered throughout...
Its a bit the www.syndrome
Too many people in the web post something and play doctor or herbalists over things they were reading themselves.
Look at our animals, they feel unwell and eat then what helps them, controlled by their insincts.
So any of the good you might get from other plants already and the worst thing you can do is, to make your immune system lazy by oversupport it.
This damage need a long time to cure later, if it is ever curable again...
Your in my opinion HUGE list of "supplements" tells me you focus especially on the intake of such supplements which will eventually force your body out of balance.
To have the plants in the Garden is a good thing for sure.
It supports biodiversity, feeds pollinators and its a nice to have if the "cr@p hits the fan due to sickness for a day or two"
And like our animals teach you, have a nibble if needed and stay off if you feel well...
Then none of them in your list will have nothing else than positive effects without creating long term damages.
No worries, your kindney & Co will take a temporary punch and sort it with ease..
Just a statement regarding the modern www.syndrome:
Curing Salt, containing nitrit is used for centuries
It is not off topic when I write now about my ham and sausage making...
People say: Oh Man! You still use Curing salt for your sausages? Nitrite is soooo bad..
My reply: yes it is bad. Please read how much your body produces of this Nitrite, how much Nitrite is in your veggies you eat every day?
Then tell me, why not use a 10th of the amount your body and the plants produce, to make sure botulism will not kill you...
Beside you eat 1/2 Kilo Plant matter per day, but only a few slices of my Salami?

I have to agree with this. I have serious health issues that won't ever resolve on their own. Some of these items are great, even just as food, but in therapeutic quantities, the way I take them, I wouldn't advise doing it without solid reason. That said, I did make the assumption that the OP has reason/ sees a need. We're all adults, here, and I tend to try to see the reasonable, intelligent adult, in everyone.
If you buy herbs, just be sure to buy from quality companies. I personally like Gaia and Herb Pharm. If you buy from suspect companies, there could possibly be a contamination problem that could lead to liver or kidney problems. I've heard of this happening. Much of what we eat and drink is processed and eliminated through those organs. If you grow your own, then you're more sure of what they are. If you make tinctures, be sure to make them right , follow a protocol, so that mold or bacteria won't be an issue.
If you already have problems w/ your kidneys/liver, I'd be careful of anything I put in my body. Be sure to get labs once in a while to make sure your kidneys are ok. Kidney function can go down just by aging or if a hereditary weakness exists in the family genetics. I think diet is important here, too. Liver enzymes can elevate sometimes for no sure reason. They should be followed up on, too, though just to be sure there's nothing serious going on w/ the liver.
