Just joined: excited to meet the new community and want to say hi!
I am a holistic mind-body wellness advisor, and my passion is natural healing in everything...including our emotional health.

Would be glad to answer any questions or engage in a good discussion around the topics of natural stress management, herbs for stress and depression, natural approaches to fixing relationship problems and the like. Please feel free to hit me up

Welcome.  I joined almost a month ago and enjoy it.  I'd encourage you to add your location to your info, that way others can see if you're their geographical neighbour.  Also feel encouraged to post in the regional forum that best suits where you live.  And explore all the different categories, from gardening, foraging, personal challenges, to frugality, kitchen, all manner of things.

Welcome to Permies! You may want to contribute to some threads in our personal care and meaningless drivel (where stuff went that didn't fit anywhere else) forums. There are threads about healing oneself in each of those. That way our shy folk can see what you're about before reaching out.

I hope to see you around often!

Hello Helena,
Welcome to Permies! Maybe you'd like to start a thread on making family gathering occasions a less stressful experience? Haha!

Welcome Helena!

I find that discussions on natural healing can often be found in our medicinal-herbs forum.

I am looking forward to some new discussions there and in the other forums that Joylynn suggested.

Thank you so much, everyone! I'm still figuring my way around here - so not sure if there is a way to reply to your individual posts directly, otherwise I would have totally done so.

These suggestions are very helpful already, and I have a great sense of a warm community! Excited to be here
Will definitely be starting a couple of discussion threads that you mentioned people may be interested in -- these sound like great ideas, actually!

It takes a little while to get the hang of how to post here. Particularly if you use a mobile device. Our techy wizards are working on a more mobile friendly interface, but it all takes time (and money).
This thread: https://permies.com/w/how-permies-works is a good collection of useful links on how the site works including this one which is about repyling and quoting posts. You can quote the post you want to reply to, then delete out the bits you don't want to repeat from within the square brackets.
Adding pictures is fairly straightforwards if they are already on the internet (provide credit reference if appropriate please), or they can be attached to appear at the end of the message too.

Have a practice here if you like, or start a new thread in the tinkering with this site forum if you have a question that doesn't seem to be answered.
