Here's a nice trailer showing the Lorena Outdoor Cooktop in use.  Yup, I want one of these, too!  It's a rocket stove with a hole above the fire for a pot of water to fit snug to cook over.  A glass cooktop on the other side uses the gases to heat the glass.  Who comes up with these innovations?

It's really hot where I am so I prefer to do my canning outside to keep the house as cool as possible.  I'm thinking of simmering the contents on the cooktop while sterilizing the jars in the boiling water.

"Why in the world would you put a hole in the riser?"

Literally the first thing that came to mind. Great trailer!
