I came here looking for a conservative type of people mainly Christan... There's just not a lot of that here, I'm hoping to find somewhere there is homesteaders together that are really conservative and Christian...

People here respond better to those who post outside singles as well.  Sharing projects,  participation in discussions,  that sort of thing.  It makes it easier for people to find a compatible match if they can see more than a singles ad.

If matching religious values is the most important element in your search,  perhaps that's the place to look.

Hey Moses,

Welcome!  From a fella whose has been on this site for about 11 years, I can tell you with confidence this site is not the place you are going to find a lot of Conservative or Christian folks.  That is not a judgement.  Great people here.  Lots of fantastic information.  It is just not the orientation of most here.  I am not sure what gave you this impression; but I think you may be disappointed if that is your expectation, especially here in the singles section.

Cheers, my friend and take this place for what is has to offer.  There is much to be gained.  A partner may not be in the cards.

The best place to find folks with Christian values is at the church of your choice.

Right now it is an excellent time to find folks of the conservative persuasion.  Check out your local office as they are always looking for volunteers.

I understand you. I love Christ and his teachings too.

I’ve also learned so much from other philosophies and traditions that I’m open to connections with all seekers of the Truth. So I have a flexibility that perhaps makes meeting someone a little easier.

I’m not suggesting that for you. That’s been my path. Just explaining why my pool might be a little bigger.

There is a legitimate dating site where I’ve met some very nice people. It’s greensingles.com

In my time there, I wasn’t contacted by a single fake account.

I didn’t meet the love of my life but that’s on me. I started the process and then realized I don’t have the time needed to explore relationships right now because I work and run my little animal sanctuary by myself.

Consider checking out that site. You can specify the religion that you’re looking for.

There are definitely some conservatives and Christians here on permies.com, but not sure how many in the singles forum. From personal experience, I'd suggest Farmer's Only dating site as a space to find singles who are into homesteading and match what you are looking for! Good luck!

As a progressive agnostic, I would still hope you and all other respectful perspectives feel welcome on permies. We can learn the most from those with different perspectives.

This is all just my opinion based on a flawed memory

Farmers Only is a waste of time and money. I spent 6 months on the site and found only Catfish and flakes.
I like the suggestion of attending church services and cultivating friendships with the the community you find there
