Back in the day I only wore Levi's and when they got so crazy on price with the quality gone I switched to wrangler. Cheap made and cheap to buy. Problem there is I was lucky to get three months out of a new pair. Then I noticed a friend who wore old uniforms like mechanics wear. So I asked him how they lasted and he said this pair is about 3/4 years old and will still last awhile. Next thing I did was started looking into quality uniforms. I have no problem wearing the same type of clothes all the time. Then I found Walt's used  work wear  https://usedworkclothing.com/ I've been buying from them for nearly ten years now. Tan khakis are great for outside work and a pair lasts me about 5 years and I am HARD on clothes! Even better the tight woven cloth is much better at stopping briars and such from getting through than jeans and they are much cooler in the sun. Plus they aren't as heavy and dry out a lot quicker.

The long and short of it is a white tee shirt and a pair of Khaki pants are MY choice of uniform for the way I live life these days.  The best part is I have saved a ton of money buying used work pants, by now I'm talking thousands of dollars saved over a ten year period.

Wow thanks for this! I frequent the Goodwill for used work wear but they don't always have what I'm looking for, in fact more often they don't.

Clicked around a bit and seems like a great option!

wow, thanks! I also buy most of my clothes thrifting when I visit the US, and the quality has gone way down. This looks like a great solution for the things I want, which are mostly work pants and hi-vis shirts! I also love scrub shirts, which have lots of pockets and are great for garden work (and even though this site doesn't have a scrub category, if you search they're there).

I used eBay to buy dear hubby's (used) work clothes.

We managed a Park where the uniforms had khakis shirts so this worked out well.

As Tereza says the quality has gone down and prices have gone up.

Nowadays I only buy Dickey's shirts and buy new though I still buy on eBay.
