Chanterelles, blackberries, chicken of the woods, sometimes boletes. I probably do the least foraging in the summer season due to continuous need to harvest summer squash, etc.. Chanterelles are the awesome, though.
Juneberries, blackcap and red raspberries, blackberries, aronia, mulberries, feral cherries. In late summer, also early apples, pears, chokecherries. Milkweed buds are good too.
I planted one shiso last year and it self seeded in the hundreds this year. I am harvesting leaves for tea and will try them in cooking too.
I also found one volunteer false daisy ( Eclipta prostrata ) in my garden. I am collecting seeds to grow more. The plant is said to have medical uses but I have only used it for cooking. The minced leaves are added to ground pork to give the meatballs a distinct flavor.
