Because urban girls one might date don't understand the ecstatic aromatic joys of hay -- freshly mown hay and perfectly cured hay. The few that do focus most of their loving affection on horses instead of meeting you in the hayloft.

I will refrain from jokes about "chewing the cud."

I am not a fan of gum though hay flavor sounds ... urg ... I vote for Juicy Fruit.

i think i’d want an air-freshener or incense that smelled like hay that was just mown yesterday. so sweet!

...how about a field of freshly cured lemon grass?  ...or lemon grass and mint, hmmm, that's practically a gum flavor and lemon grass takes forever to chew
