So, I am looking for the memoirs of US Grant, and I find a 2 volume set. There were less than a half dozen reviews. The comments generally ranged from great to the print being too small. But there was one notable exception. The reviewer liked the books and wanted the author to write a 3rd volume. I did not detect any humor intended.
Some people age like fine wine. I aged like milk … sour and chunky.
Being a Southerner, I know very little about Grant so I found this article very interesting, especially how Mark Twain got involved.
The volumes were written in the last year of Grant's life, amid increasing pain from terminal throat cancer and against the backdrop of his personal bankruptcy at the hands of an early Ponzi scheme. The set was published by Mark Twain shortly after Grant's death in July 1885.

Wow - that would be awesome if Grant would write a sequel!
Think of the awesome questions he might decide to answer:
1. Is there life after death - and is it human life or do you come back as a mosquito and get squashed?
2. Can you watch your loved ones after death - and get frustrated as heck when you can't intervene?
Anyone else have great questions we'd like him to answer?
