Aspiring Designer - Advise

I recently completed my Permaculture Design Course through Oregon State University. I’m reaching out for advise on how to grow my career from here. I live in Georgia at the moment and, overall, I’d love to hear any thoughts or guidance people might have. Let me know!!

I do not have first hand knowledge on being a successful designer but I am trying to think through the lens of being a consumer of your services.

Have you created a portfolio of your work yet? I would want to know what you have done and be inspired by your projects for my own space.

Who would be your target consumer for your designs? A specific climate/area perhaps?

Get a food forest (or something) planted so that in ten years you'll have something to show off that inspires confidence.

If I wanted to make Permaculture Design a full time job I probably would incorporate this with a landscaping business where I would design and sell plants and trees.
