Good morning friends! How's everybody? I wanna find out how I cure my sick plants in my gardens and saw the yellow in my potatoes also with brown leaves and and diseased spots.
Also saw some purple on my cabbage leaves and white patches on my leaves of my tomatilos. There's some more yellow from my Mexican Yam in my big pot. Any natural ways to save them from greater rot? Still don't know how I send pictures of my crops on this site, but send them to a friend who's a long time member of this site.
Please shoot back if you need me. Have a good day.

Yellow on potatoes with brown leaves is often a sign of blight starting, especially if the weather has been wet. The purple on cabbage leaves is usually a phosphorus issue, common in cold or waterlogged soil. Worth checking drainage first before trying anything else.

What's happening! I've heard there are recipes mixed with peroxide or turmeric and could those work to help cure plants that have been in such conditions such as watering excessively, fertilizing too much and stuff like that. Summer is coming soon in Zone six in Chicago, how I prepare my plantings for the intensive heat that have a dreadful effect on their growth and those things?

Is there any chance you could provide us some pictures of the plants?

Hi Blake. In Permaculture the answer is often 'it depends ...' There is no easy cure. There can be many reasons why your potatoes have yellow/brown leaves. The same for the other problems.
The reasons can be too much water or too little, a lack of one or another mineral in the soil, a fungus, etc. etc.

Good evening! I wanna find out how we combat the tobacco virus and it has occurred on my potatoes even though they nowhere near tobacco in my gardens.
I've heard that I suppose to use Epsom salt and water to help my potatoes heal from the virus. Is that true?
Anybody try that method before? Never have. How much Epsom need in the water to keep my plants from ruin if I add too much of the salt. Could it also be used on other plants? Thanks!

Hi Blake - tobacco virus can be transferred to other plants, particularly tomatoes and less likely potatoes, also eggplant and capsicums. From tools and hands of cigarette smokers usually or brushing against other infected plants.  Potatoes also have their own viruses, which may be your problem - worth some research.
Pictures can be added using the "Post a Reply" button, rather than the "Quick Reply"  this had me foxed at first, until the light dawned. 🤔

Good evening. How can we prevent the disease from spreading to other plants? Which plants resist the virus?

Not much touches a virus of any sort. . .and it also affects a wide variety of other plants, not just the nightshade family. If the tobacco mosaic virus is the problem, found this site which looks helpful, if not strictly Permie. (The first option sounds a lot like a commercial shampoo to me)  Otherwise, if it's just the potatoes at present, remove all the affected leaves and burn 'em, then see if the potatoes sprout back. NB WASH HANDS & TOOLS CAREFULLY AFTER THIS OPERATION!!!
It may be as Judith B says above - the potatoes may be dying back because the tubers are ready to harvest.  Perhaps dig one up and check the tubers.

There is a WIKI on How to Post an Image on Permies that might be of assistance.
