A pic of the project that had Jr and I running long into the weekend. Building that big has unique challenges.

Spring is almost here and it was time to take a look at our flagship ebike, The Crimcycle.

The front wheel motor didn't have power and the beast was more bark than bite. Turned out the motor was fine and responded to the working rear motor when swapped.

I had hoped the problem was some kind of debris keeping this plug from fully seating. The batteries were fine and so were the motors but still an error code.

There's the culprit and an easy fix. The motor wire must have gotten yanked loose but the plug gave way instead of something else harder to fix.

With that, it's back up and the first major repair scare was a minor ordeal.
Go with the flow that only you know, and consider the rest as sketchy at best. Far be it from me to try and turn moss into a tree - for moss has a beauty same as carpet has a duty. Call me Apple, I require a minimum number of chill hours to be fruitful and crush.
I spent this damp and chilly morning doing my best with Rex to make our puckering valcano rd a little less anxiety enducing and hard on vehicles. Bonus - ol' Rex's heat and window wipers work!
Now to make some cob for another few spots on the exterior and then the trim.

It's in amazing shape for however long it's been up towards the volcano, sitting along the road and it's amazing it didn't get smashed by Rex.

A few pictures from a steady yet spactacularly uneventful day here at WL.

Probably not a smart idea to cover wet mud with wood so I was back today to button it up with trim and a little more cob.

One of the Abbey cats survives and the next year 9 more exist. The squirrels and chip monks must make alliances post haste. .

A finishing coat or something else? We'll see when this dries out some.
