Yeah man, we made it happen.  Surprisingly, no blowouts or flats but I'm sure there was a healthy heap of luck to thank for it.

Also doesn't hurt that moving the euipement was completely on the side of 'Needing' access to a crucial resource, making any novelty project pale in comparison.

Brk 305

It was all about running the excavator today and with a rapidly narrowing window to make this project a success, it needed maximum 'try hardness'.  Driver cap engaged, earbuds in and throttle up.

I've spent a good amount of time on our trackhoe since iv been here but this solid rock is a new challenge.

The excavator met its match and without a hammer attachment to deal with the bed rock we needed to cut losses and alter course. If you can dig down, build up.

Before explosives; people used to fracture rocks by building a fire against them, heating them up, and then cooling them with water.

I reckon you've got a good idea about it and yeah that's the location.  Let's say we're trying to tap into more habitat for you...

That sounds like a better community cookout event than an industrial approach these days but why not do both!  I'm a fan of making work fun and making fun work.
