I'm intrigued by the Wofati concept but don't feel like I have a visceral feel for what they're really like inside & out. Since I live in Virginia, it's not so easy for me to come look.

I am willing to pay $20 (via paypal) to first person(s) who posts to YouTube a few minutes of video walking around the outside and a quick tour of the inside of Wofati 0.7 and (separately) 0.8.

10-ish minutes of rough footage with youtube-quality, rambling narrative is fine.

Separate bounties for 0.7 and 0.8. (i.e. $40 total available)

Offer expires 7 November 2015

Applicant for the bounty must obtain permission of the occupant(s) and/or owner!

For what it's worth, if people are uncomfortable with paypal, I'm not wedded to it. I could mail a check, etc.

Sawdust and woodchips were used for insulation in the umbrella. Paul is trying to use natural materials wherever possible. The cost is very low as well, often free for the pickup.

My Signature for the last few years was "just spinning wheels," but after our PDC at Pauls Place this summer I feel like we are finally catching traction. Hope to be threading some more. got a roof on our house, swales dug, and finally starting to work on our plan in more details.

Thanks much to both Daniel and Jesse! Really helps me see the wofati concept. And I dare say it's easier to watch a couple of short videos than to read Paul's whole article .

One question for you all - you showed the battery storage room in one of the wofatis. I assume proper precautions for venting the batteries are being taken? Don't need any more battery-related hijinks.

The battery room was constructed and conceived by the previous occupants, who took their solar system and batteries with them when they moved. So for now it is just a sort of utility room, and I'm not sure what sort of venting was put in. It sure is something to think about if we ever put batteries back in there.
