Maybe my subject is strange to read and understand.

I get a message in my email account and the post that it is referring to does not exist when I link to the thread.

In example, yesterday I got this message in my email account

Hi,

You received this email because the topic "Intending To Be More Outspoken About Permaculture" in the homestead forum has received a reply from member Joseph Lofthouse since your last visit.

I connect with this, and go to Permies on that thread, and Joseph's post does not exist.

I moved part of the discussion from https://permies.com/t/61069/Intending-Outspoken-Permaculture  to another thread. https://permies.com/t/4794/Direct-Wind-Heat

That automatically left a message from me in the original thread which said, that the thread had been moved. That message self-deleted after about 2 days.

I have the same issue sometimes. And the comments are to my own thread, so no one has moved a comment. It's just not there.

If it had been someone other than Joseph, I would have suggested that maybe it was spam, or a post that in some way didn't meet out publication standards, that had been removed.

But Joseph's posts are generally not of that ilk.

This seems to make sense, but this is not the first time that it has happened, often there is not a two day window since I have been online, and in fact this particular gap was less than two days, as my email account received this message yesterday before 8 am.

I split the thread on: Dec 19, 2016 · 04:16 PM

I really have been wanting to reply to the Wind To Heat thread, but haven't figured out how to be nice and not seem like I'm stating facts... Another time perhaps.
