These seeds are raised in some of the best soil in Canada, in a very short growing season, very hardy and quality is very high.

I wanted to order from them back in November, but this was the main deterrent for me:

NOTE that this is not an online Order Form. You will have to print the form, write your order by hand, put it in an old-fashioned envelope with a cheque (made out to RACHELLE TERNIER or JIM TERNIER) for the appropriate amount and mail it to the address in Humboldt.

I don't think myself as a techie really, so I can live with smaller seed companies not always having a shopping cart or even a website. I don't understand though why Prairie Garden Seeds do not accept interac, paypal, or even creditcards, or why they couldn't have an online Order Form(using doc/excel) downloadable on their site. Might contact them and inquire on it, as I'd otherwise like to give them some support.

Now would be the time to go to their facebook page and see the events they will attend over the next month. Make your list now. I got their seeds directly from Rachelle on the Seedy Saturday last year. All of the corn save one seed germinated and that was accounting for mice and pocket gophers so I thought I did pretty well. The variety was new to me so I don't know if it had particular cold vigor but the corn on my plot was the first to mature out a community garden plot of hundreds. So I'd go so far to say it is Sk tested.
