'report' button doesn't work on tablet

a little earlier I tried to 'report' this spam https://permies.com/t/89313/bg-sblc-lc-finance while using my tablet and got a notice that said to try again, that I had canceled it and there was a box to click 'OK'.

I haven't been able to do a screen shot on that tablet so haven't captured exactly what it says but have never been able to 'report' something while on it.

no big deal really as I can easily get back on my PC, which I did to post this.

Maybe this happens on all tablets? cell phones? I-pads?

I'm back on my tablet and have been trying to find away to do a screen shot or snip and can't do it.

Below is the text that appears on a white banner across the screen and there is nothing I can do but click the blue 'ok' button at the bottom of it and try again which gives me the banner, etc. once again ....over and over....

What kind of tablet? Browser?

I cannot reproduce this on mine which is android chrome.

But we are looking into it.

Could it be because someone was removing the spam at the same time?

Can you try reporting this post?

I'm back on my pc now but yes, I'm always logged in on the tablet...can't see the report button otherwise.

It's a Dell and not windows 10 but 8 or 8 something I think. I can post and edit at permies from it though and copy links, etc.

It is a touch screen and maybe that has something to do with it?

The spam I was trying to report did disappear later but not for an hour or so from when I first tried to report so not coinciding at all with the message that I get.

It has been happening for a long time...months? maybe and I'm just now getting around to reporting....so no urgency on my end...just interferes with my spam spotting and you all don't leave much for us to find these days

Since I couldn't do a screen shot here's a photo with my camera...the post I tried to 'report' was your 'bump' in this thread R so it looks covered completely by the white space.

No, not at all...I click the 'report' button and immediately get the banner across the post. Then I click 'OK' and it goes away and if I click the 'report' button again I get the banner again, etc. I never get a box to enter a comment, always the white banner across the post that I have (tried to) reported.

My browser on this tablet is internet explorer and maybe that explains it all? I forgot that I hadn't switched this to firefox like my pc. I had always planned to do that along with an upgrade to windows 10.
