Show me your fungus. (Mushroom Photos)

Decomposers doing their work. Hard to ID from a photo alone but worth taking a spore print if you're curious, that plus the cap shape narrows it down a lot. The overnight thing is pretty normal after rain, the mycelium can be sitting there for months just waiting for the right conditions.

Thanks M.K. coral fungus does look much more likely.

Maybe, although I did add some 'chaos' food garden mycorhyzza when planting some of my trees. I suspect Clavulina cristata might be a more likely candidate for me. It looks like it is edible, although there would have to be much more to be worth picking (and I'd need to be more sure of identification too!).
