Since this is for showing what fungus I get, this is it. Yes, water kefir has fungus in it. There won't be any mushrooms I would show, I never get any. Everything is from plants. Kefir would be the exception.

Large shelf fungus, posibly a White Cheese Polypore acording to Goggle Lens. On a dead maple and aparently very young as we first noticed it yesterday beside the drivway.

Wow how fun to find a morel in Disneyland! Thanks for sharing that, Chance.
And thanks to Fred for the reminder about water kefir grains. I had a batch going for a few years, but then was traveling a lot and could not maintain it. I am looking forward to starting another batch this autumn!

Has anyone here tried to make a sparkling gingerbeer (mildly alcoholic) with water kefir? Maybe this is not the right forum for that topic... if not maybe one of you who are 'in the know' can redirect me?

It gave me the idea that they need to have a botanical map, and botanical tours/activities at Disneyland. You could have the map on the app. You could have kids/families help plant spaces, learn propagation techniques and clone/graft a plant, sample the edible plants, etc...
