I came across this older discussion and wanted to add a bit. One cool tip is using a mushroom ID app on your phone to help identify any fungi you come across—super handy when exploring! Anyone else here has recent photos to share? Would love to see the diversity of fungi others have found or grown recently.
It’s hard to get a picture that captures all the weirdness. It’s growing in my garlic bed, and has encompassed a couple of the garlics and a bunch of weeds. I have no idea what it is beyond pretty cool and kind of hard-surfaced.
