interested in this online pdc course and wondering if at the end of it instructors would review a design plan I made remotely? Would there be any certificate given when accomplished as well? Thanks for offering these amazing resources!

I know that you only get the certificate if you attend in person

Looks like a lot of great info. How much storage space does the tiny SD download require? Is it even still available?

Tiny download is still there.

And the 177 hours has been so popular that we have tightened it up.

The PDC is going from 100 hours 70 hours.

The ATC is going from 77 hours to 62 hours.

Over the next few days, all of our stuff is getting upgraded.  And when we are all done we can do the math then.

I would say that HD downloads are about 4 gigs per hour and tiny downloads are about 400k per hour.  Therefore, the PDC will need a total of 30 gigs and the ATC will need about 25 gigs.

The 177 hours of stuff is now officially 133 hours.  About 25% reduction.  Clipping out pauses and waiting for things to get started in the morning.  Editing out some of the morning stuff about food and notes for people there.  Just a general tighting it all up so the people watching all the video will get more substance and less ....   feeling the need to skip ahead or fast forward.

As one of the folks who watched the live-stream, I have wished for this day for a long time.  Thanks!

I'm confused. Is this a kickstarter? I was going to back it but can't find the button for backing it. It looks like it's a kickstarter that is running through May 28th. Or do you just order the package you want? Thanks for your help

This exists because we did a kickstarter six years ago.  Be bought a whole bunch of cameras and editing gear.  And a lot of other fancy things.  And then recorded the whole event.   For the last several years we have sold the video.  It seems like a lot of people really liked it.  And then we got the idea to tighten it up a bit.  So, we are now gonna sell the tightened up version!

If you pay $65 you get the whole thing!

What is the difference between the SD and HD download versions in terms of file size and resolution, and any other difference that I might not be considering?

Thanks.

Every two hours is about 0.8 gigs for SD (360p) and 8 gigs for HD (720p).

Paul has released a really nice clip from the ATC portion of the videos.  Tim Barker is talking about rocket water heaters and how he ensures that hot water stays at the top, and cold water at the bottom, prolonging the duration of hot water supply.
