This little gal is going to be a big part of my life for the next few months until we can get her reintegrated into the flock.  I quite enjoyed making the video about her and am thinking of making more.

Any questions about raising a bottle bummer you would like to know more about?

I thought I read somewhere that you haven't named her yet? Did you find a name for her? She's pretty cute!

Ask her if she likes any of these names (unless you've tried them already...)

Keziah (means cassia tree)

Kalina,

Keiko - Japanese "happy child"

Kaia (rejoice),

Personally, I quite like Keziah, but then I'm not a lamb!

Then you could do weird, like I'm known to do - would she like to be Koala,  Kookaburra, or Kestrel? After all, I've got a goose named Robin and a gander named Beetle (although he's technically Betelgeuse, after the star, as opposed to an insect!)

Is she at least doing well and growing, even if she hasn't chosen a name yet?

Kalista, no idea what it means, a friend’s daughter is named Kalista

Katherine, that’s my daughter’s name

Kore (pronounced Corey, like if there were apple cores all over everywhere you would say the place was “core-y)

What it means is “maiden” from ancient or archaic Greece, maybe Greek mythology.  If you like the sound of it, you could probably find out a lot more about the name on a web search 😊

For some name ideas - how about Kipper or Kimmie?  Maybe Kammie (rhymes with lamb-y)  She is very cute.  Good to hear her "baaa-ing"!

K-ute (Kay-ute)
Kalamata
Kanji - after a tree that is very hard and strong (Cinnamomum camphora)
Kerrikie - Australian Aboriginal word for small tree, I think is most apt.

My sister had a white arabian named KaKaKamotion but we called him Kiki for short. Always liked that name. (pronounced keekee). She's adorable!

It's a k year.   With livestock,  it's common for farmers to name according to the year so they know how old the animal is.

Gretta the mum is 4 years old this spring.

She's adorable! Too sweet!
Hubby's raised bottle kids and won't have sheep after having raised them too many times for 4H.
Since I haven't learned to spin, yet, and don't eat mutton (our rule is I have to be willing to eat what we raise), there's no rush.

My family is full of K names, so I'll suggest a few that aren't being used by relatives. XD

Kamaria - Swahili "like the moon"

Kanani - Hawaiian "the beauty"

Kiku - Japanese "chrysanthemum"

Kismet - American "fate/destiny"

Kuni - Japanese "country-born"

I do like Kipper. She's a Pisces lambkin for sure!

Kitten
Kangaroo or Kanga
Kali - I think the Hindu goddess of destruction is a hilarious name for a lamb (think mother nature really angry)
Kaliope- a Greek muse of song, literally means beautiful voice
Karma
Kachina- a Native American fertility god
Kefir (is she a dairy sheep?)
Kebab (I prefer to name meat animals after food, probably not applicable in this instance)
Kiwi

Cat suggested Kiwi, so here are some more from te reo Māori:

Kauri - a native conifer that gets huge
Kete - a basket for collecting kai, usually woven from seagrass
Ka pai - all right
Kai - food
Kirimi - cream (borrowed word)
Koru - the spiral of a fern frond, symbol of regeneration and new life
Kotahi - first

somehwere I thought I saw that your little lambkin wanted hugs before it would feed.  It inspired me to write a little children's story.  I'm going to add pictures to it and maybe it will be a hit!

yep, she will only eat if she gets a hug.  very annoying.  20 min hugs for a 2 min feed.

but also very good for me.  It's been a rough few weeks and hugs are helpful.

Lambkin hugs sound amazingly therapeutic. I think there are quite a few of us who could really use 20 minute long cuddle sessions multiple times a day.

Yep. I could use a few. Shame you can't do that over the internet!

Kipper found a wonderful forever home today.  It's a small flock of ewes where she will be adored even more than she was here.

I'm going to miss her, but that's lambing.
