Testimonials:
Willie Crosby was the perfect teacher for our Home Mushroom Cultivation class. I saw him stumped only once about an obscure mushroom name. Literally every other question that 20(ish) students threw at him throughout three full sessions was met with answers that were, at once, accessible to a novice like me yet detailed enough to inform more experienced mushroom growers.

I am so grateful that we have found you as a resource! I was very impressed with you as an educator. You were very thoughtful about the information you rolled out so that it did not seem overwhelming. I am a teacher and I know great teaching when I see it!

Wondered if Fungi Ally can ship products and kit to the UK at all?
Hi Rachael! I'm not sure to be honest as the classes listed here are completely online so there is no need to ship anything. The material does seem to contain resource references so maybe that'll help you find resources closer to home for growing?
Did you know that these classes are currently on offer as a stretch goal in our Kickstarter campaign? Maybe see if that is a good fit for you as if we hit the stretch goal you'll get this item and a massive load of other goodies.
I popped over to their website for supplies, but can't see anything about shipping to the UK, but will check out alternatives in the UK if not. They seemed very knowledgeable so I wanted to support them.
YES! I'm a supporter already and am so excited about all of these extras coming our way
I downloaded the free lesson on growing shitake mushrooms and am looking forward to learning all he can throw at me!
My only criticism is that the color of the type is rather light and is challenging for older eyes to see. Does anyone have suggestions on whether it's possible/how to increase the contrast on the screen?
I enjoyed this class! I feel like it wasn't too much information. Not too little, either. Just enough to understand the basic concepts of mushroom ID, and growing for a good variety of species. Now I feel like I can learn more about any discussed topics that piqued my interest from this class. I could also order a grow kit and start today.
Aimee VanD wrote:Hi there, I paid for this course but it isn’t clear how to access the materials or what to do next. I didn’t receive a confirmation email. Any tips?
Hi Aimee,
It is a series of 3 videos that you can work through at your own pace. You should see the 3 videos embedded in the top post of this thread. Does that help?
