Looking for permies near Tacoma

I'm in S.Tacoma about a mile from I-5.  I have space to host daytrippers and campers who are ready to earn some SKIP BB's.

Homestead, round wood, dimlumber, Natural Med, textiles.... spinning, sewing, foraging, skid shed, rewiring a lamp, apple press, canning, propagation, lots of possibilities.

Planned projects for this summer, but always open for more:
rain harvest, storage, overflow garden, potable water filter
finish greenhouse, add skids and sheathing.
clear invasives, plant natives
expand garden, drip irrigation


What do you want to learn? We can put together tools and time. I just met a local permie, Hi Cat, and it was so exciting to compare our skillsets!

Not far away but a lot of water and bridges in-between.  Have grape vines and other plants to share.  You are welcome to visit for inspiration.

Yellow Transparent apples are about a week to harvest, July 29. Wash, cut, and freeze until the next variety is ripe in about 2-3 weeks. Freezing and thawing bursts the cell walls and makes squeezing easy peasy.

We will put on pressure cooker for apple sauce and a crock pot for apple butter.
Will share apples if you come to share the labor.

What a great tree! My grandmother-in-law in Snohomish has a yellow transparent apple tree and it makes yummy apple sauce!

I'm pretty close to you- about thirty minutes south of 512 (depending on traffic and red lights).

Like Hans, I'm always happy to trade seeds and plant materials!

Hosting an apple harvest on Saturday July 29 at 9am starting with applesauce and apple butter and then a cider press Sunday July 30 at 3pm.

My seed share will be available too.

March 3rd I'm going into bootcamp for 10 weeks and have a place in Randle I'll be living/working at but I'm looking for a few other projects to help out with too.

My goal is to specialize in building structures and systems but I am looking to grow my knowledge overall so you prohave projects I'll want to help with!

I live in Florida and have been researching places to move to begin a new life with my meager savings. Randle was actually a place high on the list due to a simple lumber mill job I had found online randomly... Do you happen to work there?

I'm open for folks to come and camp/work.  This winter we added rain harvesting and an overflow rain garden. The next projects are an outdoor kitchen with running water, an outdoor shower with solar hot water, a comfortable place to poop, and redoing a trailer and teardrop camper. I also want to expand the garden.

I have a friend that is looking to build out part of her family farm that I am looking to help out. It's stunning there.

I'm going to be moving between projects for a while after bootcamp. Just looking to find people working on interesting things and traveling to them right now. I have broken free
