Would that work for a fish tank in an aquaponics set-up, do you think?  (I've never been much good at catching anything when I went fishing....)

Contact your local state fish and game department, they often give fish away for free or at low cost.

Don't stock non-native fish in ponds, because they can wash out and get into the waterways.    Non-native fish in aquaculture tanks are another matter, as they are almost certain not to escape into streams and lakes.

Boy, if farmed salmon are not already an environmental problem, lets genetically modify them.

What can I say? If no one will buy and eat them, they will go away.

You know, it's interesting -- I studied Fisheries in college in Alaska (Sheldon Jackson College from 1974-1976), and at that time fish farming was still pretty much in it's infancy here in the United States.  I don't think anyone had any idea that fish farms would end up being a source of pollution back then, they were just hoping to bring down the cost of food.  I don't know that they accomplished that, either....

Firstly, English is not my native language so please excuse my English.
I found the article about genetically modified salmon on www.naturalnews.com  or organic consummer org site.
I don't remember which but FDA is not going to label genetically modified salmon.
Type 'genetically modified salmon and FDA' on search engine to find out.

The only cure for that is hours of television radiation. And this tiny ad:
