Quote, Img, URL not working for me?

Hi :)
Posted a reply to a thread and used the buttons up top to quote the person I was replying to, then put an IMG and a URL both off the buttons also. They all functioned normally, the URL wanted me to put in a name for it, etc.  The display is showing all the code tags  but not the link, the quote, or the image. Just the code.
Is it me? I'm lost what could do this. The brackets are all in place, etc, they LOOK fine.

Nope. It did not. The post looks like that. All the code showing, no live links.
Obviously a replicable problem! No CLUE what's going on....

The code was missing the [/url]  at the end for some reason...I added it above to see if it would work now.

Disable BB code was turned on. No CLUE how that happened, not a setting I have ever paid attention to, definitely didn't do it intentionally. Maybe a key command I typo'd? Weirdness.

And no clue why the one in this thread had no close, I just did the button for it too, and didn't check it for correctness. I had checked all the brackets and such in the post.And once the disable BB was done, it all worked, so it was correct.  Weirdness.

I've noticed that it often happens in replies to threads.  I think that if someone turns it off in their post, then all replies to that or subsequent posts are also turned off unless it's turned on manually when the reply is being written.

I was trying to quote the same poster both times I had issues in that thread. Wonder if SHE has it turned off?
Some days code makes my head itch :D
