Received mine this morning, as well. The timing is perfect since the next few days are forecasted to be cold & wet... Ideal for staying inside and reading.

I read in Vera's book, that urine is great for watering plants, as a fertilizer. But why plants and lawns die when dogs pee on them?

My grandma told me when I was young that a dog can pee in the yard until it goes into its first heat.  Male dogs didn't kill the grass according to my grandma, who was very particular about her yard.  She thought it had something to do with hormones.
