One of the best ways for your review to shine is to make a Youtube
video of you using/reviewing the product. If you do this, listing the gear review URL in the description of the video really gets the Googlelove flowing.
Here are some questions you may want to
answer in the course of your review:
1. How much have you used the item. Does it seem like it will last a few years or a lifetime?
2. How much did it cost?
3. Did you figure out any tricks, tips or improvements for the item?
4. Have you used a competing item and how did this compare?
Attaching a picture of your gear would be nifty.
Try to incorporate "keywords" naturally into your review. If reviewing an axe, you might want to use the words "splitting", "felling", "chainsaw", and/or "log splitter" as you do the review. Or phrases like "best axe for splitting". This moves the review up in Google searches. Be warned though: Just making a long list of related words at the end of the post does more harm than good. The key is to make it conversational.
