This badge bit (BB) is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the sand badge in textiles

In this project, you will knit or crochet a pair of adult slippers.

Minimum requirements:
- Make a pair of knitted or crocheted slippers
- Must be made from natural yarns, such as wool, cotton, hemp, silk, linen
- Must fit the wearer's feet - not too tight or extremely loose
- Must be knit on US size 8 needles or smaller

To document completion of the BB, provide proof of the following as pics or video (less than two minutes):
-  Your materials
-  Your slippers in progress
- Your completed slippers on feet

I crocheted a pair of slippers for one of our little girls. I used cotton. I'm still pretty new to crocheting but I am getting better.

Red slippers to make me smile! My yarn is from a cotton sweater I took apart. I used a size G/6 hook.

I have been crocheting slippers for years. My kiddos, nieces and nephews used to request new slippers every winter. I crochet a square and then stitch up the heel and close the toe in a circle then stitch up the top of the foot.

I think I'm turning Japanese. I really think so. This tiny ad thinks so too:
