The end of our first week of work is coming to an end at Wheaton Labs. We are feeling very welcomed by everyone here:) Today we started the day off with chopping and dropping or in other words, mulching. We were able to provide the apricots and cottonwoods with some extra TLC. Wharf also accompanied us theoughout the day which always puts a smile on our faces. In the afternoon we started off by prepping dinner and then working on a pathway for Paul & Jocelyn. We are so excited for the weekend/some time for rest! I also took and posted many photos from today down below. Enjoy!

Today Zach and I took a trip to the farmers market. We also hung out at a coffee shop and Zach got some new shoes. I also purchased some white peony flowers which are my favorite:’) Now I am relaxing and doing some research. I attached some pictures below!

Lol those are being shipped to us! He wanted some everyday footwear so he got a comfy pair of moccasins. We’re definitely having fun:)

Today marks a week since our arrival here at Wheaton Labs! We slept in a bit later than usual today but it was definitely needed. After waking, we were able to help Jocelyn with lunch preparation. After lunch we handwashed our laundry which took us much longer than we anticipated. Then we helped Jocelyn some more by prepping for dinner. Now we’re relaxing, reading, learning and getting our Youtube channel started:) I posted some photos below. ~Taylor&Zach:’)

Week 2 of life at Wheaton Labs! Today we started off with changing the Willow Feeders and then fixing the outdoor water heater. Before lunch we planted some seeds and I got to plant my Goji I brought with me. After lunch, we moved the tractor and trailer to the Lab to help us transport materials we need for working on the Wofati. We then helped with prepping dinner which included a watermelon salad and curry! I’m tired today and am still adjusting from being so far from home but I was able to find time to upload one video to my youtube channel which I linked!
