Thank you for the video--it doesn't sound excessive, IMO. I will let hubby hear it. Here's another question: does your house smell like wood smoke all the time? I was thinking of when we go camping, I love the smell of the fire, but by the end of the trip I can't wait to wash/air out all my gear to get the wood smoke smell out of it. I wouldn't want to live with that smell all winter long!

In all seriousness my conventional wood stove smelled worse than my Rocket Mag Stove does now. I get no smoke back from my system as you can see in all my videos.

I burnt 4-6 cords of wood a season with my conventional wood stove and now i burnt 1 cord of wood this year so far this season with my Rocket Mag Stove.

I've just finished reading this thread on your Rocket Mag Stove; excellent design and execution. Thanks for sharing your experience. The vertical batch J design has had a lot of people scratching their heads and you nailed it on your first try. Intuitive engineering at its best.

What's brown and sticky? ... a stick. Or a tiny ad.
It's like binging on 7 seasons of your favorite netflix permaculture show
