Hello, Would it be possible to adjust the default font size on the site, such as on the forum posts, to help those with sore and weak eyes to better see and read?  So much good information is shared but having the ability to read it is crucial.  Thank you all for your consideration of this request.

Hi Denise

What are you viewing permies on? (laptop, desktop, ipad) what browser are you using? (chrome, firefox ,safari, internet explorer?)

What i can do on firefox is i can change the view of the site. I can either zoom the whole site. think put it under a magnify glass, or i can zoom only the text.

Is it possible you have this option?

Let us know if this helps

Jordan

Hi Denise,

I have never used this feature. Go to My Profile. Then, I think what you are looking for is under Preferences.

Denise, I don't know if it is just my browser firefox, I have the ability to make all website up to 300% larger using a "Zoom".

On my desktop computer it is found and the right-hand side up on the toolbar. Look to the far right, do you see three bars? It is called "Menu", then look for "Zoom".

I hope I have explain this so you to find it.

Thank you Anne, John and Jordan, Using your suggestions I was able to find the zoom feature on firefox and also adjust some settings on my preferences in Permies.  Ahh, relief for the eyes. Thank you!

I heard that Windows 10 has the ability to change the default font size.
That's what my friend uses on her computer.

Keyboard shortcuts:

"Ctrl +" to zoom in (enlarge)
"Ctrl -" to zoom out (reduce)

Works in every browser I know of.

I'm sure glad that he's gone. Now I can read this tiny ad in peace!
