Hello!  I'm pleased to gift seeds I've saved this year to people who promise to plant them, should that be of interest.  Basically I feel very nurtured by gifting seeds, last year I gifted many, many dozens of seed packs with which quite a few people grew beautiful plants.  This year I will do the same!  If you are willing to plant any of these seed varieties, I'm happy to send them to you free of charge while supplies last!

THE LIST:

TREES:
* Apple Seeds

HERBS:
*Anise Hyssop
* Elecampane
* Calendula
* Catnip
* Marshmallow
* Garlic Chives
* Borage
* Tulsi
* Motherwort
* Purple Beebalm
* Chickweed
* Lemon Balm

VEGETABLES:
* Turnip Greens
* Tomatillo
* Carrots
* Musk Melon
* Yellow Mustard
* Green Mustard Scarlet Frill

Please send me a message if you want to turn this:

I looked into the uses of your seeds you offered and found they have great medicinal value! Would you mind sending me some of your favored seeds for that purpose?

Hi Violet, the boots out at Wheaton Lab can always use seeds.  The seeds would help the boots with developing their plots up at the lab.  They're often too busy to spot threads like this so I figured I'd mention it.  Here's a thread with some more info:

Do the boots need seeds?

The address is:

Violet, as I stated in that boots thread, I'm very interested in the seeds you have for herbs and greens. Thank you!

Hi Fred, wonderful! most of the seeds are herbs and greens and the rest are things that other folks in that thread expressed interest in.

Violet,

How very generous of you!  Since you posted this over half a year ago, I'm wondering if there are still any seeds left.  Please let me know.

Hi Ashley, Welcome to Permies!
I don't think Violet is still about - her last post was almost a year ago....
You could try joining the landrace seed site - Gone to seed, there was a thread about them a few weeks ago. I believe they were distributing some seeds in the US and there were also seed swaps going on. Alternatively start a new thread here, maybe in flea market saying what you are looking for, and maybe why you want them, so people can decide whether you are a good destination if they have seeds to spare.

  Hello, I was wondering if anyone here would be able to help me start an indoor garden. I am located in Colorado, and feel that an indoor garden may be perfect for a small apartment. We just got a new indoor herb-light garden, that we haven't started yet. Does anyone have any suggestions on where and how to start? I am currently "starting" a mulch, which only consists of an old Aloe Vera plant that I could not save, due to root rot. I literally JUST started this mulch, so I would appreciate any suggestions there as well!
I think that I would love to start growing lavender, garlic, chives, mint, basil, and thyme. Any pointers? Thank you!
