LOL. I remember watching him and his wife on the Smith & Smith show in the 1980s when he developed the Red Green character. The whole thing started as a spoof on a outdoorsy show host Red Fisher. The Red Green show was big for years here but I had no idea Red Green had ever made it out of Canada.

Haha, great silly fun, thanks!

I've been following Steve Smith since, well, before the World Wide Web was a thing --OMG. Fine comedian and writer. And a writer who worked the system, made people laugh, and got paid! This is a level of awesomeness that inspires.

But if you take care of someone who loves you, then everything will turn out right ..."

(Bonus points if you can identify the reference above.

Dang, Andrea beat me by two minutes. Two minutes! LOL

I am not sure when we started watching the Red Green Show, maybe about 1985 more or less.

Every now and then I look for his shows to be airing somewhere.

From the google search, I did it seems if is either youtube or buy the DVDs.

Yesterday for some reason I keep say red-green Christmas not thinking of the Red Green Show then I got an idea to look for it.

I didn't even know it was a Candian show.  Thanks for helping me go down memory lane.

He did a live show in Portland Maine years ago and so, of course, we had to go see him.  What an amazing performer!

Are you okay? You look a little big. Maybe this tiny ad will help:
