Hi Edward,
Whereabouts are you? I'm up on Skye getting our usual mizzley weather rather than the heat waves further South, thinking we made the right move there perhaps.
There's a few of us Brits active on the forums - thinking of doing a scion/cutting exchange perhaps this Autumn. What are you interests - Growies for plant based, Critters for animal husbandry, Building and Homesteading for House and infrastructure.
If you're not sure how it all works try the Permies FAQ page or start a new topic in The "Tinkering with  this site" forum and ask away!
Welcome.

You can edit your profile so people know whereabouts you are when you make a post, which helps put your questions or answers into context.

Hello Edward!

Welcome to Permies. I hope you like it here as much as I do!

To me the coolest thing about this forum is the depth of knowledge and experience you can find. The forum is something like 14 years old I think, and all 14 years worth of posts are searchable. Us volunteer staff are gradually working on weeding the chaff and linking things up and sorting out the sections and whatnot, but generally it's a rich library full of valuable content. Many people like to call them rabbit holes... I like to call them dusty bookshelves! (Maybe because I like books and cleaning...)

Tell us what you're into!
