Why I don't give away lots of apples

Under desktop view the button for apple is so small. It's smaller than the "like" or "unlike" ones and hard to find among other small buttons. Under mobile view they are the same size.

I don't either but for a different reason.  My pet peave is people who won't put any kind of location under their "name" and then ask for opinions on subjects that are location specific or give definite advice on what can be done with a certain size parcel of land.  If I catch myself in time I don't give thumbs up or apples to even excellent posts if that location or climate zone, etc. isn't there.  (Maybe that makes me a jerk!)

May, have you tried adjusting your screen resolution? That might help.

It's a pretty tiny button, and kind of difficult not to 'fat-finger', at normal size. So, I get around that by blowing up my screen. It's a little fiddly, but it works.

This is what the post response buttons look like on my iPad running Safari. May is right, the apple button is very small compred to the thumbs up & down buttons.

Exactly like mine, on the Samsung.

I find that the two finger splay to increase the size of the display helps to ensure that I tap the correct buttons on a small touch screen

I used my phone mostly and with the tiny screen, my thumb covers at least three buttons when I try to tap right in the middle blindly. Zooming in the screen helps a lot.

I tap it with relative accuracy but I agree that it would be nice if it were more visible.   Maybe changing the color to red would remind people who just forget they have 🍎 privileges

I just want to clarify that I don't intentional avoid giving apples. It's just the design kind of makes me neglect it especially when I only had one vote per day. The thumb -down button otherwise rarely gets used.

General info about growing zones or terrain will be helpful for people asking about something location specific. One Gardening Fundamental article mentioned this about someone asking why his tomato was not setting fruits. People offered all kinds of possibilities and after many posts, some one asked about the location. turned out he lived in Florida so high heat was the cause. But for people answering the questions, a person can just be knowledgeable on regardless of his/her current location or condition.
