I miss the wittiness of the English language. It's not so valued in Japanese (Edit: Or perhaps I'm just not witty enough to understand it in)

There is much to be said for a party that is "all in." Full debauch is a spectacle, for better or worse.

I think I would plan my escape routes, and open my own drinks.

Isn't there a song? "My Mama Told Me Not To Come"?

I love the 'wheelbarrow at 5am' especially.

I thought the name sounded familiar and found that the party invite (if it's for real?) was for the 'lord of the rings' Tolkien's youngest son Christopher who died only a couple years ago. He must have had some stories to tell
