I am not very good on computers stuff, is there a way to talk to a live person?

Hi Dave welcome to Permies!
I assure you we are mostly live people here (and many not that technically ept either!) Did you have a question about rocket stoves? Just ask away and hopefully people will chip in to help.

Looks like a spam post with a dubious link? Hopefully  not but I would not press the link myself.

The link appears to be a genuine "mail to" link, but caution is always wise! And emailing off-site isn't really how the forum is supposed to go!

Dan, if you are new to this stuff, this is how this site works. When you start a post like you did with this one or comment on someone else's post, you will be emailed when someone else posts a comment on it. So if you ask your questions here, you'll be emailed when someone replies. The email you receive will have a link back to the post, so you just click on that to revisit the post, scroll down to the reply link, and make a reply.

That way, everyone gets to share in the conversation.

In reply to Dan's PM:
Dan, if the issue is how to reply to the emails you get letting you know there has been a reply to a thread you either posted or commented on, you need to click the link in the email to go to the thread. I don't think replying to the email does anything! Once you are on the forum post, scroll down to the "Post Reply" button (circled in the first attached screenshot). Click that button, and it opens a white box you can type your reply into. Then once you've written your reply, click the "Submit" button, circled in the other attached screenshot.
As you managed to use the PM system, I am sure you will figure this out too!

I can't renounce my name. It's on all my stationery! And hinted in this tiny ad:
