Could you elaborate on what you need help with, and perhaps what the 3 or 4 things are?

By skip are you referring to Paul's SKIP book and program?

If that's the case you may be interested in the PEP forums.

(I believe I used the keywords that make those auto-magically link to the threads mentioned.)

Hi Walter, welcome to the forum!

Have you seen this thread:

The Skills to Inherit Land forum might be of interest.

As L Johnson mentioned the PEP: Permaculture Experience according to Paul. A more formal approach to learning homesteading and permaculture:

Also, you might find our Experiences Forum helpful.

Hello Walter, Welcome to Permies!
Like L Johnson, I am unclear as to what you're asking, but usually someone here can help.
Some suggested directions can be found in the similar threads, which should show below.

SKIP= SKills to Inherit Property. Is Paul's overarching term for a way for people to SKIP the rat race and start homesteading and permaculture sooner.

Also I found these really great threads (amongst many others!) on starting out:

Although I am in the Cascadia area it is quite large and there may be some experts much closer.
If you post with your location and the 3 or 4 skills you want to develop It may be possible to match you with someone like me. I am in my 83rd year and not getting all the things done that make this farm productive.
