If you lined a stove this size with firebrick, the combustion chamber would become so tiny that it would probably not function, and certainly would have much less heating capacity than the original state.
It is really hardly even a
rocket stove aside from the fact of having a heat riser to allow a bit more combustion time; the air control feeds at the bottom of the wood rather than pulling air through the wood stack, and there are no actual changes of airflow to give turbulence during combustion.
It might function very well as a tent heater, I can't tell without trying it. If you want a permanent indoor combustion core, your better bet would be to lay up a firebrick 6" J-tube for much less money and better function.
