Little darling,
I feel that ice is slowly melting

Little darling,
It seems like years since it's been clear

Here comes the sun..

Here comes the sun,

and I say..

It's alright

Trivia:  George H wrote that song while watching the sunrise one morning, sitting in Eric C's back yard.

Shameless bump just because I want more people to see this.

Headphones and computer screen recommended. The amount of happy that shines through from those people and that song...

And you can just take it in.

Worth a second bump! Delightful musical talent. Makes me smile.

The fountain is a nice choice for the green screen background. Peaceful, happy, and ...green.

Well, maybe in a few days or weeks...
Currently snowing heavily, and there has not been much sun so far this month
Great timeless song though!

Sun glorious Sun,
We're anxious to try it,
After rain every day, or fog every bit,
Just picture a field of mud, puddles every where,
Oh, sun, wonderful sun, marvelous sun, glorious sun
Sun, glorious sun*

On that note, I'm off to shovel some of that mud out of our farm road entrance while it's maybe dry enough to do so!

*apologies to John Powell and Lionel Bart and Charles Dickens

Ahh Jay;
We have glorious sun ourselves!
Unfortunately, that clear sky will send it down to single-digit temperatures tonight.
No dry mud here, only frozen!

The mud I was shoveling definitely had ice crystals in it, but I managed to beat it into submission by doing the job in the warmest part of the afternoon!

One micro-diversion ridge to hopefully guide the water that is coming of the street, over to the gully that's past our driveway is in place. If I can get the ridge backed up with some gravel before the untrained drivers who insist on using that area turn in destroy my ridge, I'll be happy. To do that, the little wagon needs its wheels filled with air and it's no where near the air compressor. Nothing's ever straight forward!

Right! We're on it! Let's get to work tiny ad!
