I have a 12 year old black mulberry tree. It has never fruited. I've mostly just ignored it- but this year I'm interested!
I'm thinking its a male tree? Photos of the 'blossoms' attached. It doesn't clearly look like any of the google pictures, but I think it looks more like the male flowers.. and 12 years with no fruit signifies something!
You're right, it's a male tree! on the bottom of the three blossoms you've photographed, you can clearly see a single anther (the bit that holds the pollen) sticking out of one of the florets.
Most of the other florets haven't opened yet, which is why they're harder to match to images online.

I wonder why it chose this year to flower so profusely. I take it that it did turn out to be male? I planted two mulberries last year, not realising they were sexed. Luckily it seems I do have a male and a female. Currently they are only surviving - no flowers this year. It was a horrid cool summer here and mulberries are notorious for being desirable slug food.
