Things to do while drinking a mug of tea - fine, substitute coffee if you insist

Something on permies got me thinking. Permies in many corners are "doers". Even if all they do is plant edible flowers on their balcony, they think differently from many people I meet who seem to be quite happy to just be passively entertained and never *do* anything.

So this is a page to brag about what you *did* while drinking a mug of tea (or coffee or any hot drink - have to be inclusive because we accept people of all sorts so long as they play nice).

Yesterday, I cut out and pinned a patch pocket to a pair of leggings. Hopefully, afternoon tea time will get it sewn on, but I'm a great one for breaking down big projects into bight sized chunks so they actually get finished.

This morning, I thought up this thread, and got it started!

Come one and all - tell me what you *did* while relaxing with a hot cuppa!

Sometimes, I read fiction, sometimes non-fiction. But, small projects happen, often. Lately, I've been teaching myself continuous strand weaving, on a small (9inch, I think) square loom.

I really relish taking at least a moment in my day to observe my flock of chickens in their paddock; ideally I would be sitting and perhaps drinking a nice mug of tea at the same time.

A cup of tea goes well with plotting and scheming - in this case planning out my proposed permaculture polytunnel. Hint - I'm still looking for help with this!
