I first learned about Stephen Fry due to his excellent portrayal of "Jeeves" in "Jeeves and Wooster". There is a video on youtube that has him saying "permaculture" about Willie Smits' stuff. And today I read this:

Stephen Fry was on a tour by the church of latter day saints when the tour guide said 'in the afterlife all families will be reunited'. He replied 'And what happens if you've been good'. He was expelled from the tour.

I thought this thread could be loaded up with the best of Stephen Fry. This guy is a fountain of fun.

A shamelessly parochial addition. Another mad NZ bird on the brink of extinction...

I have a biggish crush on Stephen Fry, having enjoyed his performances since his "Jeeves and Wooster" days.

If any of you American folks are not familiar with his work in the marvellous Blackadder series, I would strongly recommend tracking them down. Lord Melchett - class. Second, third and fourth series (or "seasons" as you call them ) are best.
