I LOVE that video. Thanks so much for posting it--somehow seeing them in motion is that much more impressive.

Do elk always hang out in such large groups? And was that Sasha standing there watching them go by?

That 'HOLY MACKEREL!!!' was easily worth watching the video twice. The elk were bonus .

Yes julia sasha got a front row seat to the action that day! I was so jealous! Elk use to hang out in even bigger number when i was growing up in idaho. But yea usually they are in fairly good size herds.
