Today was all about Marcia Ball music. She was a good neighbor for a few years shortly after the Armadillo  closed so I've enjoyed her music ever since. She is extremely talented & a very special person. Rock on Marcia!

I don't listen to much rock anymore... tend to go pre-70s country and pre 50s jazz.  But, this album was amazing... probably the best debut of all time... big Standells and Modern Lovers influence... lots of crossover with the Talking Heads.... a little Thomas Dolby, too    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qaJjdrTW7C0

At first, I thought the Modern Lovers were just a Velvet Underground cover band... then, I really listened... wow!
