I've been enjoying Halidon Music classical playlists lately and they've turned me onto some wonderful composers.

One of my new favorite composers is Alexander Litvinovsky ...I was hooked by 'Time to Go Boating' from Tales of the Magic Tree (plays at 25:22), but the entire arrangement is fantastic:

Alexander Litvinovsky
Tales of the Magic Tree
(12 Pieces for String Orchestra)
Metamorphose String Orchestra
Conductor: Pavel Lyubomudrov

This gem is a little slow to get going but really delivers ....my favorite from this Suite is probably 'Nos Etudes' at 8:33, a very playful tune:

Alexander Litvinovsky
Suite for String Orchestra
LE GRAND CAHIER (THE NOTEBOOK)
Performed by Metamorphose String Orchestra
Conducted by Pavel Lyubomudrov

Another new favorite composer is Luke Faulkner, this one had me hooked:

Ballade (Piano solo) - Luke Faulkner

...same tune, but performed on strings

Ballade - Two Violin Arrangement | MELODIC VIOLIN | Luke Faulkner

I find this collection to be very soothing:

Piano Solo - Calm Piano Music (Luke Faulkner)

Let's start this weekend with drums. Here's a couple of my all time favorite drummers along with a new one I've been listening to lately.

I was in a dancey mood yesterday, bouncing around, making people laugh, hugging strangers. The music I was listening to had several of my favorite dancey songs, so, from mellowest to rowdiest, here's three of them
:D

In three-quarter time

All night long, with your heart's delight

And to the Turkish Song of the Damned
