This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the straw badge in Community.

In this Badge Bit, you will set up a six hour workshop taught by you or somebody else.  Hold the attention of at least 8 students for the full six hours.

Minimum Requirements for this BB:
- Set up a six hour workshop
- The subject of the presentation has to be related to permaculture or homesteading
- Presenter and superior organization holds the attention of the students for the full six hours
- 8 students = 2 points, 1 point for every additional student, maximum of 10 points
- Can be combined with “teach a six hour workshop” to get two BBs

To document this Badge Bit, provide proof of the following as pictures or a video (<2 mins):
- the workshop (with countable attendees) as it is beginning (including a clock or phone with the time)
- the workshop (with countable attendees) as it is ending (including a clock or phone with the time)
- proof that you set up the workshop

I used a table saw to cut wooden slivers, drilled holes in them, and tied two slip knots in the twine to make nametags (see the pile of 20 nametags on the table in the photo: classroom_after.jpg.
I purchased additional safety equipment to supply a worksite (see the buckets of glasses, gloves, masks, and restocking the first aid kit: https://permies.com/wiki/109015/pep-homesteading/Create-Restock-Aid-Kit-PEP#2692319). Also reference: https://permies.com/wiki/109718/pep-homesteading/PEP-BB-homesteading-sand-safety#2692370
See https://permies.com/wiki/151217/pep-community/Create-Lead-Work-Party-PEP#2612389 for the dishwashing system that I set up for the workshop.

The workshop started at 9a but I forgot to take an earlier photo. The workshop ended at 6 but we also supplied dinner so I was able to get a photo of those that stayed for dinner. I had well over 20 people in attendance! It was a huge challenge to coordinate photo taking when I was leading an event -- too many moving pieces and it's so challenging to get good photos after the sun goes down.

For reference, I'm the 5'0" doofus in white overalls

Right, so now that the point allocation details have been added, I'm going to add documentation to fully identify the number of students (basically, I'm going to copy and paste my notated photos from https://permies.com/wiki/151495/pep-community/Teach-Hour-Workshop-PEP-BB#2768971) in attendance.

At the start, I have 10 students in the photos, including myself noted in the photo, so add 1 student who's taking the photo for me = 11 students
At the end, I have 11 students in the photos, including myself noted in the photo, so add 1 student who's taking the photo for me = 12 students

For setting up a workshop, it's - 8 students = 2 points, 1 point for every additional student, maximum of 10 points

My math:
8 students + 3 additional students = 11 students from start to finish
2 points + 3*1points = 5 points.
