If you're pursuing the BRK, I think the posts are tallied up by days.  So if you post 4 days of events during one calendar day, they count as 1.  If they are posted on 4 separate days, they count as 4.  I could be wrong but you might want to check.  Dez has a nifty way to display the day vs the post numbers in his log.

Actually slave cargo.  The space in-between is for material cargo.   Other tribes have invented a device called a wedge to pound into the saw cut, when the tree wants to lean back against the cut, to keep it from pinching the saw.

I will be wary of getting into the vehicle again.

We were able to get the saw out. I believe one of the tribesmen simply finished the cut and prayed for the best. Luckily, the saw was spared

Thanks for the info. I was pretty sure that was how this worked, but not certain. Either way I had let a couple of days sneak up on me, so I figured I should get them all in. Some days you’re just a little too pooped for a post

Adventure log, day 12

Style of tired Kyle

We did lots of stuff. I collected some deer poop to pop into holes in my garden beds. Deer poop is quite nice. Very easy to collect. Hopefully it gives the beds a kick start.

Shaved up a bunch of trees today

Got a nifty bandana that will help keep my hair from getting dust or sap in it.

Got a bandana like everyone else. I guess I’m part of the tribe now

Adventure log, day 13

This morning the half giant chieftain elaborated on his grand plan for the distant village. The tribespeople and I were very impressed and excited to see if we can bring this plan to fruition. The idea is a gardeners paradise, with even the domicile adorned in gardens. I hope I stay long enough to see this vision come to pass.

In addition to the chieftain’s instruction, we worked on our garden patches. I attempted to cover mine with mulch and succeeded somewhat in that endeavor.

In the afternoon, we went about the well project. We shaved some more bark off of trees in preparation to place Sole Air Panels onto them, in order to run the pump in the well. The female warrior’s log looked immaculate. Mine could use some work.

Adventure log, day 16

The tribe tended their patches in the close village today. I’m still figuring this whole thing out, so I spent most of my time trying to make rock steps. I’ve had a villager show me how to set stones for steps before, but I feel I did not quite do that teaching justice today. I may have begun with subpar stones and found myself stuffing increasingly small rocks into increasingly oddly shaped holes. I finished one step, but was not able to complete another.

I also met a horse today. The chief’s right hand man took me to fetch water from a friend of the village. The horses greeted us and took note of us nasally. The creatures were gentle, but I’d be terrified to meet one in battle.

The second part of the day consisted of chopping down trees and debarking them. The well project is nearly complete. I’m excited to see it finished

It is good to learn the horse greeting if you want to have some credence with the horse tribe incase the lack of fuel powered transportation makes it necessary to call for grass powered. Deeper horse conversation will require practice wiggling your ears and eyebrows. Don't worry most even in horse tribes have not even tried to master it though some are good at reading it.

I’m decently good at the eyebrows, though I’ll have to practice the ears.

Adventure log day 17-24

Apologies for the gap, I didn’t mind it too well.

This past week the tribe focused on two goals. 1. Erect the monument to the sun god and harness it’s power
2. Fill the temple of the sun with rock wool so the sun god’s heat could be trapped


We made good progress on both fronts. We finally finished inserting the rock wool into the ceiling of the sun temple. I’m glad we won’t have to sacrifice any more rock sheep in order to complete the structure. In order to complete this task, I had to adorn ceremonial robes, which I’m told protect me from the spirits of itchiness that surround the rock dust. The robes seem to have worked, and are quite fashionable to boot.

On the sun monument front, we erected the shorn trees into holes then filled those holes with stone. The tribe thinks this will appease the earth goddess and ensure she does not become jealous of the sun god. The earth goddess is known to consume trees over many years, but she munches slower if the proper offering of stones is made.
