Consecutive Day 107

...stuff happened yesterday.....alot of stuff.....on Saturday too!   um, so I got to drive the Falcon! Nothing like driving 5 tons of truck (except operating Judy's plumbing), Scott D. got his first day of work in (thank you Scott D.!), and I gave yet another Ant Village Tour.

Consecutive Day 108

Sunday saw some work On Narrow Pond; the rock cistern had water in it from early morning rain so the Dwarf's Redoubt got some work from Clayton, Scotty D, and myself.

Consecutive Day 109

Yesterday we had well issues so we staid at base camp while Fred negotiated with well demons. Josiah, Clayton, Scotty D, and me went up on Peach Plateau to mulch a bunch of fruit tree seedlings planted some time ago -they just sprouted this year!

We went to collect burnt junk pole in the afternoon and got covered in soot; someone suggested the river, so off we went to wash the soot off and to cool off!

Later, Josiah and Jennifer shared their shelter design for their deep roots plot....   ...then Scotty D. got in on the Himalayan yoga before we all crashed out.

Consecutive Day 110

Yesterday was, um, not so good for well water.
We are still finding trees that have grown from seed up on and near Peach Plateau....and we got another FreeCad session in after Taco Tuesday dinner.

Consecutive Day 111

Yesterday brought a brighter perspective as the kickstarter is totally doing hella good  [url=https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/paulwheaton/greenh]help us take it farther![/url

We used Judy to bring water for paddocks at base camp and to Allerton Abbey, did junk pole, started work on the wings of Alterton Abbey, and worked on the last few sections of filling in junk pole  -which I might add, is nearing completion-  maybe three more loads of junk pole!

Consecutive Day 112

uuuuh! today is Friday: worn, weary, and ready for a good wet rain this weekend (dry rain is the kind that evaporates before it hits the ground).

Yesterday was a junk pole collection day after relieving Judy of two loads of water. We are soooooo close to finishing the junk pole fence!

The flow of the day went by so fast I didn't notice I hadn't taken any pictures so I took a few around base camp.....so here's a few from base camp

Consecutive Day 113

It started raining early this morning and is still raining  -really nice for all the plants and the little trees we mulched!

Scotty D left two days ago (his girlfriend was too far away); we'll miss him. Jonathan is leaving this weekend; he left us some good ferments!

I watered apricots, did chop and drop, moved part of a berm for the well work, and collected rock for the patio between the FPH and the pantry. Clayton and me started working on making sure all you kickstarter supporters above $100 get your live interactive video feed from Wheaton Labs like we promised.

Consecutive Day 114

Yesterday saw more concentrated nest labor as usual (no posts this time); seems taking pictures every now and again tends to interrupt the nice stack of things I want to do (more later on in this post).

Fred noticed a something about our well pump house. The top collects a great deal of water. Since the well house is underground, the top is a metal lid....I'm very curious about how much water collects every day during the summer...let's see what happens!
