In the last picture (rue), do I see Japanese honeysuckle? If so, is that an issue for you?

Sometimes when I look too long, I see pink elephants!  ...but you'd have to ask Fred what he thinks of Japanese honeysuckle as it is his plot!  So Paul, are you ready to help support On Narrow Pond?  Come on now, no need to just be minimally involved, go for it!

BRK Day 62
uh-oh. lost my phone yesterday and the pictures that went with it!  We did hugel kulture bed material gathering, some hugel building, then I got to plant potatoes......while planting, there were a number of things that germinated: the peas I planted in my very first planting, fava beans, and brassicas  -no carrots yet!

So here's a few pics from the past I haven't posted yet!

its final resting place is a mystery but I suspect it is at the bottom of a slash pile aka clear cut brush pile where we got hugel material

BRK Day 63

We put up 84 feet of horizontals yesterday around Alterton Abbey on the east side while Jennifer and Josiah built hugels on the west side. After lunch, we sculpted the berm sheds south end roof and removed rag weed from the road front of base camp.

BRK Day 67

Yesterday went so fast I didn't notice it until dinner time!

After the junk pole fence building in morning, we broke up into teams. Fred, Jen, and me removed a very large tree from the upper road in twelve foot sections...later I did a little chop and drop.
